A tactical ETF strategy for higher potential returns
Tim Middleton uses tactical asset allocation to boost returns in his ETF portfolio, launched Nov. 28, 2003, with a balance of $100,000. Gains are reported as of March 23, 2005, which was the launch of MSN Money's ETF Center. The portfolio's core is 30% equities and 10% fixed income. The balance is invested in alternatives, including sectors and hard assets. Changes are made quarterly. The portfolio began 2006 with a value of $125,748.
